The reality is that the process of losing weight is simple but it is certainly not easy. It takes determination, consistency, willpower, persistency and determination.

So many people waste years of their lives, yo yo dieting, trying all sorts of things, liposuction, surgery and even pills but if you don’t learn how to do this properly, you’ll end up back where you started. That is why having the right mindset is really important as is the ability to hold yourself accountable and be willing to understand the reasons you may be overeating or struggling with your weight loss.

I’ve done it too!

Having tried many diets in my lifetime, I can assure you most diets work if you stick to them. Be it Atkins, low carb, Keto, carnivore, etc., they will all work but the reality is most diets are unsustainable for a lifetime so when you return to your normal way of eating the weight comes back on. However, to really keep weight off, you need to discover a way of eating that you can sustain for life.

What about calories?

Most people when dieting rely on the calories in / calories out mantra. This states that in order to lose weight, you must burn more calories than you ingest. While this is technically correct, my personal experience has taught me that calorie in vs calorie out method is also generally unsustainable for most people. Who wants to be counting calories for the rest of their lives? I know I don’t!

what i do differently

My weight loss program is designed to help you learn how to lose weight and belly fat (something most diets don’t do) and keep it off for good by giving you an understanding of how your body really works and what state it needs to be if you want to be successful with your weight loss. It is about equipping you to create a way of eating that you can sustain easily and keep doing for the rest of your life.

You will learn about eating more healthy fats and protein, about keeping your blood sugar levels stable and cortisol levels low, about time restricted eating (intermittent fasting), the best times to eat certain foods, moving more without necessarily joining a gym and much more.

what about exercise?

Interestingly, many people think that the most important step in losing weight is including exercise but that is not true. While exercising is helpful for your weight loss and also for your overall health and is definitely something you should be doing, it comes a close second to having a good diet. When it comes to losing weight, nutrition is key. Learning about good nutrition is therefore integral to your success when it comes to losing weight. Yes, we will be discussing exercise too but your diet is priority.
